Conor McGregor and Celtic have been linked with each other over the years. Whether it be him training in a Kieran Tierney jersey or expressing interest in investing in the club. The former UFC champion is believed to be a supporter of the Hoops, alongside his well-known fondness for Manchester United. On the other hand, the supporters have held up banners with his quote.
Now, McGregor has clearly shown his soft spot for Celtic once again. He posted a picture with Brendan Rodgers while seemingly on holiday in an unknown location.
McGregor congratulated Celtic on winning the Premiership and League Cup win in 24/25, calling it a legendary Double Champ linkup. He also asked for a treble next season while tagging both the club and the UFC on his post.
At the same time, he also congratulated Rodgers for the addition of a new member to his family. Here is the former UFC champion's post and picture on X:

Of course, there is some uncertainty around McGregor and his future in combat sports at this point in time. He was scheduled to take on Michael Chandler at one point but the Irishman had to pull out due to injury for the first time in his career.
There were also some talks about a boxing bout in Logan Paul in India but that does not appear to be headed anywhere. It is very possible that he might be retired from both boxing and mixed martial arts.
As for Rodgers, he won't need to be told that a treble is the target for the club next season. The Hoops have started to strengthen already, bringing back Tierney this summer. More signings are expected to be made as well as Celtic look to go one step further.
