Scotland's squad has been confirmed for the upcoming Nations League fixtures, and there is mixed news for the Celtic stars.
Sebastien Pocognoli has selected his squad for the clashes with North Macedonia. Scotland will likely have to win both for a chance of reaching the promotion playoffs, but they would also likely have to lose both to suffer relegation.
The Tartan Army are currently four points ahead of North Macedonia and three points behind Slovenia in second with just two games remaining.
The international break starts on Monday, with Scotland's games coming on Friday and Monday.
Ahead of those games, Pocognoli has confirmed his squad, and he has included Celtic star Kieran Tierney. Tierney, who has a colourful injury history, has beem playing a lot of football lately, but he will have a couple more games to contend with now that he will be heading off for international duty.
But there is no room in the squad for Colby Donovan, who was selected for the last international window. Donovan has done well cfor Celtic this season, but he has not done enough to make this particular squad.
There were also calls for centre-back Dane Murray to be included in the squad after some positive displays for the Bhoys, but he has not made the cut and is still waiting for his first Scotland cap.
In fairness to Pocognoli, Murray hasn't played much football this season, even with a few recent starts for Celtic, and he likely wants to see a little more, especially going into the final two games of a Nations League campaign.
The defender will likely get his chance during friendlies ahead of the European Championship qualifiers.
