Celtic are believed to be looking to strengthen their options on the flanks with Luis Palma expected to depart before the close of this winter transfer period. As a result, the Hoops have been linked with quite a few wingers in recent times. Speculation surrounding Aston Villa forward, Louie Barry, is starting to pick up some momentum but he is not believed to be the only one on the Scottish champions' radar.

Celtic are always on the lookout for the next big thing. Bazoumana Toure of Hammarby is someone who they have been linked with for months after his impressive form.

But unfortunately for Celtic, it looks like plenty of other clubs have been impressed by Toure as well. One of them might very well be Fenerbahce, currently managed by the legendary Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese manager is believed to have requested the signing of three players from the Fenerbahce management. As reported by Sozcu (via NTVSpor), the first name in Mourinho's report is that of Toure.

Mourinho is without a doubt the most high-profile name in Turkish football right now. But his Fenerbahce side find themselves trailing Galatasaray and need to improve if they are to catch up to them.

On the other hand, while Celtic have been linked with Toure for a long time, those rumours have faded away a bit in recent weeks. One has to wonder if the club have shifted their focus towards other transfer targets instead, like the aforementioned Barry.

There is not a long time left in the winter transfer window. It remains to be seen what kind of moves the Hoops will make between now and its closing in about a week-and-a-half. Brendan Rodgers' side have looked shaky lately and could do with a few fresh faces, just like last year.
