Celtic will be heavy underdogs going into the second leg of their Champions League knockout phase tie against Bayern Munich. The Hoops lost to the Bavarian giants at home last week. The late goal from Daizen Maeda has instilled some belief into the fans but overturning even the narrowest deficit at the Allianz Arena will be like climbing Mt Everest.

We have seen the likes of Barcelona and Arsenal be on the end of one-sided defeats at Bayern Munich's backyard in recent years. So, Celtic will need to bring their A-game and then some if they are to have any hope of qualifying to the next round.

It is not impossible though. And with players like Nicolas Kuhn in their ranks, the Hoops are capable of coming up with a moment of magic out of nowhere.

Kuhn almost produced one in the first leg. He found a way past Manuel Neuer from distance within the first minute of the game only for the goal to be ruled out as Adam Idah was adjudged to have been obstructing the view of the goalkeeper while in an offside position.

For those who do not know, Kuhn was actually a part of Bayern Munich's youth ranks at one point of time. And he seems to be someone that the Bavarian club are wary of going into the second leg.

As reported by the Daily Record, Bayern Munich superstar Jamal Musiala said:

"Nicolas played really well against us last week. At Bayern II, I was 16 or 17 and he was already a big character. We spoke together a lot, had games together and I've been delighted to see how he has progressed since then."

That is high praise for Kuhn, especially coming from one of the best players in the world right now. He has to deliver when Celtic take on Bayern Munich. He is one of the players that the fans will be looking towards to come up with something extraordinary in what could be one of the greatest nights in the club's history.
