Celtic have been linked with plenty of players in recent months although, with a little over a week left in the winter transfer window, the Hoops have not made any additions to Brendan Rodgers' squad. One can only that they do as soon as possible because the Hoops have looked pretty shaky in recent weeks as their high-flying form from earlier in the season has completely faded away and right now, they are having to work hard to secure wins.

There are a number of areas where Celtic could do with some strengthening. Midfield is one of them, especially after Odin Thiago Holm left on loan to join LAFC.

Lennon Miller is someone who Celtic had been heavily linked with a few months earlier. But we are not hearing as much about those links lately. It is worth mentioning that he is out injured at the moment, which might very well be the reason why.

That does not mean that there is no interest in the midfielder, who many consider the best rising talent in Scottish football. In fact, clubs from abroad are trying to sign him.

As reported by Sky Sports, Motherwell have rejected a bid from Udinese in the region of £2.5 million for Miller. It does not meet the club’s valuation for the Scotland U21 midfielder.

It remains to be seen if Udinese end up returning with another offer for Miller after seeing their £2.5 million offer be turbed down by the Scottish club. On the other hand, surely there are teams who would have gee put on alert after this development.

Let's see if Celtic end up trying to sign Miller, knowing that other clubs are trying to sign him. And that is despite the fact that he is injured.
