It is not easy to succeed at Celtic. Many believe that playing for the Hoops makes it easier for players, as they are the undisputed best team in Scottish football. But one cannot overlook the pressure that comes along with it. You are expected to win pretty much every game and even a draw away from home is considered a bad result.
Not many can deal with that kind of pressure every matchday, even if they have a ton of talent. That does not mean that they cannot succeed elsewhere.
In fact, in the case of Alexandro Bernabei, he is shining away on loan at SC Internacional. And that seems to have caught the eye of other teams, although the idea of a permanent move to the Brazilian club has been floated as well.
As reported by The Scottish Sun, a report suggests that Corinthians want to sign Bernabei, too. They are also keen on signing Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos.
International club want to sign Celtic player alongside Sergio Ramos
Some rumours had emerged earlier that Celtic would look for a transfer fee in the region of €10 million for Bernabei. Most supporters felt that that was an unrealistic expectation to have. But why?
If a rising talent in Brazilian football was performing at the level that Bernabei is right now, one would not think that it would be difficult to get that sort of fee for his transfer. So, why would it be any different for the left-back just because his spell at Celtic did not work out?
It remains to be seen how things turn out in the transfer race involving Bernabei. Considering Celtic's need at left-back, perhaps giving him another chance at Parkhead would not be the worst idea in the world but that does not seem to be in the plans.
