Former Inter Milan striker sends message to struggling Celtic player
Aberdeen's win this weekend means that they are now leading the Premiership by three points. Who could have predicted that? Nobody. Of course, Celtic have a game in hand. It is an away trip to Fir Park to take on Motherwell and now, it is up to Brendan Rodgers' side to respond to the pressure and get all three points from that match.
Celtic are coming off an intense midweek game against Atalanta. The Hoops got themselves an invaluable point after earning a goalless draw against the highest scoring team in the Serie A in their own backyard.
It will be interesting to see if Rodgers makes any changes to his lineup. Could it be time to give Luis Palma a start?
Palma has lost his place in the team this season but his attitude deserves praise. Instead of sulking about the situation, he seems intent on succeeding at Celtic. He got himself back into Rodgers' plans, coming on as a substitute against Atalanta. Let's see what role he plays vs Motherwell at Fir Park.

David Suazo is considered one of the greatest Honduran players in history. And the former Inter Milan striker had some words of advice for Palma recently. As reported by 67 Hail Hail, he explained live on Televicentro:
"Actually the talk with Luis was more about pleasure, advice, because they are situations that some players would like to receive, he comes from Scotland to Italy, a country where I live, I am close, it happened that we were able to talk to him, these are the things that help you when you are abroad, that someone you know comes to visit you in times of difficulty.
“Talking to him, I told him, don’t worry, we all go through these difficulties, I even told him an anecdote of mine at Cagliari where I went four months without scoring a goal and it’s the most difficult things in football that help you to grow.
“Thank God he had minutes because the delicate moment he is living with Celtic, these minutes add up, they make you see that he is improving and I felt happy and committed, and those are the things, the visits of a friend, of a compatriot helps you
“Since we had experiences in Europe and things are slightly different and [we] share those secrets that we have, and I heard Emilio talking in the media and I think Palma listened to them and they helped him to get back on track."
It is great to see that Palma is receiving advice from those who have played at the highest level of the game. It can only help the Celtic winger improve.
There is zero doubt about his quality in the final third of the pitch. His numbers were excellent last season even though he was in and out of the team towards the end of the campaign. But he needs to improve his overall game if he wants to be a regular starter at a club like Celtic and also find more consistency.
