Ange Postecoglou has been a success pretty much wherever he has been in his managerial career. Not much needs to be said about his successes in Asia and Oceania, winning league titles with South Melbourne, Brisbane Roar and Yokohama F. Marinos. At Celtic, he won five trophies in two years. And even at Tottenham Hotspur, he won the Europa League, their first piece of silverware in 18 years. He always win.

Well, almost always. It looks like his time at Nottingham Forest might come to an end soon if things do not improve quickly.

Postecoglou was brought in to be the man to replace Nuno Espirito Santo. But so far, his time with Nottingham Forest has been a nightmare. He has won none of his first seven games, losing five and drawing twice.

Perhaps he could make it work if given the time to do so. His start at Celtic was not particularly great either, but it suddenly clicked one day and never stopped after that. But patience is rare in modern football, especially when it comes to the Premier League.

As reported by The Telegraph, Sean Dyche is the front-runner for the Nottingham Forest job if Postecoglou is sacked. Evangelos Marinakis is considering parting ways with his club's second manager of the season.

One has to wonder what the future would hold for Postecoglou if he is indeed sacked by Nottingham Forest. He quickly got another job in the Premier League thanks to his Europa League win with Tottenham Hotspur. But getting the next one might not be as simple.

He is not the type of manager that you bring in to avoid relegation either. Could a Celtic reunion be on the cards in the future if Brendan Rodgers leaves at the end of his contract?

In many ways, that would be perfect for both parties. For now, that is a long distance away and the focus needs to be on the present, for Postecoglou as well as Celtic.
