Celtic have their fair share of problems at the moment and won't be looking to deal with any more. That being said, it just feels like the relationship between the board and the supporters is only going to get worse after how the AGM turned out yesterday. Not only were the club not able to win them back it almost felt like they did not even attempt to do so.

Now, it remains to be seen how things will play out from here. The two most important decisions on the horizon are the next managerial search and how the January transfer window is handled.

Wilfried Nancy looks like the frontrunner to get the vacant Celtic job. But there is no real clarity on what kind of signings the club will be looking to make this January. The squad was already very weak and it has gotten even worse as a result of the constant injury problems, with many of them being long-term ones.

On top of that, one of their regular starters continues to be linked with a move away from Parkhead and is drawing interest from the Premier League. As reported by Football Insider (via BBC), Everton will target Daizen Maeda in January.

Maeda wanted to leave in the summer itself but Celtic were not ready to part ways with him back then. Just some months on and the situation appears to have changed.

Maeda is still believed to be keen on an exit. And this time around, Celtic seem to be more open to the idea as well.

Maeda scored 30-plus goals last season but has managed just four so far in this campaign. So, his form has completely faded away and this might be the right time to try and bring in a significant transfer fee out of his departure. Of course, that is if the club have plans to reinvest that into the squad.
