It was a transfer window to forget if you are a Celtic fan. The club failed to even reach the minimum expectations this time around and made some decisions that still make no sense to the supporters. But it is not just the Hoops support that they have left unhappy either. It looks like other teams are not particularly pleased as well.

We saw plenty of Celtic transfer deals collapse on and around deadline day. And while most of them were incomigs, one was an outgoing.

It had looked like Birmingham City were on the verge of signing Yang Hyun-jun on a £3 million deal. But it failed to materialise in time and the South Korean winger has had to return to Glasgow since then.

Now, as reported by CeltsAreHere, Mark Hendry reported on CeltsAreHere Extra Time that Birmingham City are far from pleased with the breakdown, having done all the legwork to finalise a £3 million deal But that was only for Celtic to fail to give the green light in time. Yang had even travelled to England to undergo a medical.

Well, that is not a good sign for sure. Celtic certainly did not enhance their reputation amongst the fans or other clubs with how they conducted their transfer business this summer.

It remains to be seen if they end up making some free agent additions in order to fill the gaps in the squad. They have already brought in Kelechi Iheanacho but it feels like more needs to be done.

That being said, considering how things often go at Celtic Park, it would not be a surprise if they decided to push things for down the line. That would mean the winter transfer window that is to come.
