Hibernian manager David Gray has given his assessment of Celtic, branding them a 'very dangerous' team ahead of their clash at the weekend. The Celts are set to visit Easter Road on Sunday.

He said: "Celtic are going for the league, and we’re going for fourth place. So they’re going to be trying to back up their performance from the weekend.

"I went to their game on Saturday and, for larger periods, they were very good in the game and very dangerous.

"Like you said, you’re not involved in the title race if you’re not a dangerous team.

"They’ve still got that level of talent. And they’re going to have threats."

Most recently, Gray's side fell apart in the Edinburgh derby as Blair Spittal netted in the 86th minute to win the game for Hearts. The Jambos' only other goal was one that Hibs put in their own net, and two red cards didn't help the Hibees' case.

They'll be hoping to threaten Celtic this weekend, but we'll see if O'Neill's side can keep them at bay. In February, they ran out 2-0 victors at Parkhead, but things could all change on their turf.

The Hoops need a win to stay firmly in the title race, and with Hearts and Rangers set to go head-to-head, any result we get against Hibs could be incredibly important in the grand scale of things.

The title race is well underway

After the results at the weekend, Celtic have moved to second place, one point ahead of Rangers. They trail Hearts by three points, but if the Gers were to hold them to a draw or beat them, and the Hoops were to win, that could put us in the top spot.

Whatever happens, that final game of the season, when the Tynecastle side travels to Parkhead, is going to be absolutely amazing. The blockbuster occasion could end up deciding the season, but we'll need to see if Celtic can take the lead before then.

Beating them at our ground after all the trouble we've been through this season and winning the title as a result would be a legendary moment. It would go down as one of the best title wins in the history of Celtic.

All we need is for our players to turn up. Top performers like Benjamin Nygren will hopefully find the net again, and fingers crossed that Maeda can keep his form up. A good run needs to continue against Hibs on Sunday, and there is no room for error.
