Celtic have made a great start to their Champions League campaign, with seven points from their first four games. That puts them in a decent position to make it to the next round of the competition. But of course, there is work still to be done. No game is easy at this level and their next one is against Club Brugge.

Club Brugge might not be an European heavyweight, but they have six points in the bag as well. Their latest result in the Champions League was a 1-0 win against an in-form Aston Villa.

So, Club Brugge are very capable of pulling off a result against Celtic. Brendan Rodgers' side will need to bring their A-game when they face the Belgian side next week.

The visitors have been handed a worry heading into the Parkhead fixture though. As reported by CaughtOffside, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are among the clubs interested in a potential transfer move for Club Brugge's Joel Ordonez.

Ordonez is a key player for Club Brugge. It might take a transfer fee in the region of €30 million to sign the defender.

It remains to be seen if talks of interest from clubs like Liverpool, Newcastle United and Aston Villa ends up unsettling the defender. If it does, it would be good news for Celtic.

While Club Brugge did get a big result against Aston Villa in Europe, their form domestically has not been the best. And one would like to think of this as a game that Celtic can win, perhaps should at home.

Celtic cannot take anything for granted though. After all, this is the Champions League we are talking about. How long were they without a win in the competition? That being said, there is also reason to be confident heading into the Club Brugge game next week.
