Christopher Jullien's time at Celtic was up and down. Signed for a transfer fee believed to be in the region of £7 million, the Frenchman quickly established himself in the starting XI upon arrival. He even scored the winning goal for the Hoops against the Rangers in the Scottish League Cup final. But ultimately, injuries would end up derailing his time in Glasgow.
By the time Jullien returned to fitness, others had moved ahead of him in the pecking order and there had been a managerial change as well. He never got into Ange Postecoglou's plans and ultimately ended up leaving the club on a permanent basis.
One player Jullien was teammates with during his time at Celtic was Jeremie Frimpong. The Dutch right-back got his first big break in the senior game at Parkhead but it would be safe to say that he has gone on to achieve a lot more since then.
Frimpong has recently been linked with teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona but Liverpool are favourites to sign him. As reported by The Celtic Way, when asked if the Dutchman could ply his trade for Arne Slot’s side next season, Jullien said:
"Yeah, I think that he has the quality for it, though. He has shown it at the highest level against big opponents with Leverkusen, and I think he would be up for the challenge. He’s a really good player."

Let's see what the future holds for Frimpong. He has proven himself as one of the most effective full-backs or wing-backs in the game during his time with Bayer Leverkusen.
He played a major part in the club's Bundesliga triumph last season. Next summer, it might be time for him to take the next step in his career.
A move to Liverpool makes all the sense in the world for Frimpong right now. That is because Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to leave for Real Madrid, opening up a spot in the starting XI for him.
