There is no doubt that Sebastian Tounekti is the summer signing that has managed to excite the Celtic fans. His arrival on deadline day was not met with a great reception, as most were more concerned about the club's failure to bring in a striker despite sanctioning Adam Idah's move to Swansea City.
Tounekti was brilliant in his debut against Kilmarnock, in tough conditions, and then against Partick Thistle in the following game, even scoring his first goal for the club. The next two outings have not been nearly as impressive though.
Tounekti showed flashes of quality against both Red Star Belgrade and Hibernian. But it does feel like things are settling in a bit now. Opposition teams will have a keener eye on him moving forward and the challenge is to deal with that, and still produce.
Chris Sutton seems to be reluctant to be too excited about Tounekti already. He wrote in his column in the Daily Record about Celtic's Tunisian international winger:
"He was outstanding against Kilmarnock and Partick but found it much harder in the one v ones in Belgrade when he went up a level.
Tounetki did okay, but there could still be a dip after his initial adrenalin rush."
Chris Sutton's Sebastian Tounekti claim will worry Celtic fans
There is no doubt that as far as goes when it comes to Celtic's current crop of wingers, Tounekti is the most exciting one. He looks like the kind of player who thrives on the occasion and is keen to make things happen for his team
Players like that often depend a lot on their confidence though. And it will be interesting to see how Tounekti performs, if or when he has a run of underwhelming performances or low output.
In many ways, he reminds one of Jota, although the Portuguese winger has proven himself as a bona fide success story at Parkhead already. It remains to be seen if Tounekti will be able to reach those heights in Glasgow or not. And also, who will be the first choice on the left flank when his teammate returns from his long-term injury.
