This summer transfer window promises to be an interesting one for Celtic. Not only are the club expected to make plenty of additions to Brendan Rodgers' squad but on the other hand, they will have to make sure that they are able to keep their best players as well. If not, they will at the very least need to bring in replacements.

If the transfer rumours are anything to go by, one area where Celtic seem intent on strengthening this summer is the midfield. They have been linked with quite a few midfielders in recent times.

One such midfielder is Lennon Miller. The Motherwell midfielder is considered the biggest talent in Scottish football right now. At 18 years of age, not only is he a regular starter for the Steelmen but their best player as well and has even captained them on a few occasions.

Naturally, clubs like Celtic and Rangers are interested in that type of talent. But there are others as well. As reported by TBR Football, Chelsea’s owners are working to sign Miller for Strasbourg. Arsenal, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester United, Newcastle, Tottenham, Brighton, Brentford, Crystal Palace and West Ham have all had contact about him.

The level of the clubs interested in Miller just proves what kind of talent he is. And it makes things a lot more difficult for Celtic, that is for sure.

It will be very tough for them to try and bring Miller to Parkhead. If they are successful, it would have to be considered as a major coup.

Nothing is impossible in football though. One has to remember that it is very easy to get lost in the shuffle at top clubs. So, moving to Celtic might be a good step for Miller.
