We have seen quite a few important Celtic players being linked with moves away from the club ahead of the January transfer window. There is rumoured to be interest in Kyogo from the MLS. Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen are supposedly interested in Cameron Carter-Vickers. And clubs like Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are believed to be keeping an eye on Nicolas Kuhn.

Now, another Celtic player is being linked with a move away from Parkhead. But in this instance, the fans won't be as worried as the previous three.

The player we are talking about is Greg Taylor. The Scottish left-back has faced quite a bit of criticism in recent times. His contract is set to run out at the end of the season as well and it is interesting that he has not been handed an extension yet despite being a starter.

Other teams are keeping an eye on his situation as well. As reported by 67 Hail Hail, Dinamo Zagreb are indeed interested in Taylor. They are hoping that the Hoops will part with him in January to avoid having to wait until the summer.

Taylor perhaps does not get the credit that he deserves. But at the same time, left-back is widely viewed as a position where Celtic can improve.

Interestingly, Kieran Tierney has recently been linked with a return to Celtic. It is believed that Arsenal have passed on the option to extend his contract by another year which means that he will become a free agent in the summer.

Is Tierney being lined up as the replacement for Taylor? Time shall tell. But the club definitely should not consider parting ways with him until they have brought in someone to take his place in the starting XI. Alex Valle is the backup but he is only on a season-long loan from Barcelona.
