If there is one position where Celtic are looking to strengthen in this winter, it is winger. Luis Palma is expected to leave the club although the Hoops' injury situation has made that a bit complicated. On the other hand, if the Honduran does leave, the Scottish champions will need to bring in a replacement to take his spot in Brendan Rodgers' squad.

They have been linked with quite a few wingers in recent times, including a potential Jota return. But now, a new name has cropped up and he is currently playing in La Liga.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Celtic are weighing up an offer for Real Valladolid's £8.5 million-rated winger, Raul Moro. Ajax have made him a priority signing.

Thus, there is a decent bit of interest in the 22-year-old. He has already scored 3 goals in La Liga this season.

It is believed that Celtic are yet to make an offer to Real Valladolid to sign Moro although the Spanish club are aware of the Hoops' interest. It remains to be seen if or when the Scottish champions take a step in that regard.

Someone like Moro would fit the profile of player that Celtic have signed, and in many cases tried to, in recent years. The winger has a lot of room for growth and has represented Spain at multiple youth international levels.

Real Valladolid are hoping to avoid relegation from La Liga. As a result, they might need to say goodbye to Moro this month despite his good performances. That is because the club need to strengthen in other areas of the squad and could do with the significant transfer fee that the Spanish winger's exit is expected to bring in in the winter window.
