Celtic's transfer window is now threatening to click into gear, with the club bosses feeling the pinch of the upcoming Champions League qualifiers. Urgency appears to have set in, and there appears to be more sensible decision-making.
The Bhoys are back in league action against Kilmarnock on Sunday, and they are just 11 days away from that all-important first Champions League play-off clash, against LASK.

Celtic close in on Hassan
The best news from the last 24 hours is Celtic closing in on a deal to sign Real Oviedo winger Haissem Hassan. According to various reports, the Bhoys are quickly advancing in their talks to sign the winger having courted him for much of the summer so far.
It's reported that Celtic are pursuing a £6million deal upfront, but they are said to be proposing a further £3million in add-ons, with the total proposal worth £9million. The clubs continue to work on that formula, but with Hassan said to be keen on a move, it now looks likely a deal will be done.
Bhoys block Johnston exit, at least for now
It's no secret that Everton are interested in a deal to sign Celtic full-back Alistair Johnston, with a £14million deal proposed, but Celtic are holding strong.
The Bhoys might not sell for that fee in any case, but if they are going to do a deal at all, they want it to be after the Champions League qualifiers, believing it will be difficult for them to find a replacement on time. Those Champions League games are worth a lot of money to the club, so the approach makes sense.
That firm stance has reportedly seen Everton's interest cool. That could be a play, especially with the player said to be keen on the move, but for now it seems as though Celtic are holding on to their Canadian international.
Kenny could be on the move
Celtic striker Johnny Kenny could return to Bolton Wanderers this summer, with Wanderers boss Steven Schumacher admitting he would like to re-sign the striker.
Kenny did well with Bolton in the back half of last season before missing the playoffs, which Bolton won, with injury. He could now return to join them in the Championship.
