Kelechi Iheanacho's goal against Kilmarnock sealed the three points for Celtic at the weekend and gave them a nine-point lead over the Rangers in the Scottish Premiership. One can only hope that that gives the Nigerian striker the confidence boost that he needs to go on and rediscover his best form.
Iheanacho was brought in as a free agent, after the close of the summer transfer window, after Celtic failed to land a striker on deadline day but still sanctioned the departure of Adam Idah. Of course, despite the addition of the Nigerian international, the Hoops remain short of options in that area of the pitch.
So, it would not be a surprise if Celtic try to sign another striker in the near future. And they have been backed to bring in someone who is already playing in the Scottish Premiership, something they have rarely done in recent times.
The player in question is Kieron Bowie of Hibernian. As reported by Glasgow World, Chris Sutton said on Sky Sports:
"Yeah, Celtic would have seen plenty of him now and I wonder whether eventually they'll make the move for him. I remember him last season when he had a performance against Celtic and really roughed Cameron Carter-Vickers up, which is not an easy thing to do, but he did do. I love his aggression, eye for a goal and he looks to be an outstanding young player. David Gray must be absolutely delighted he's got him at his disposal."

Bowie is 22 years of age and has already earned himself a cap for the Scotland national team. He has also made a bright start to the campaign with three goals in four Premiership games. He also managed a goal in the Conference League qualifiers.
It is also worth mentioning that Bowie was on the books at Fulham for four years but was not able to make a single appearance for the club. He spent a couple of seasons out on loan at Northampton Town, for whom he scored 14 goals in 85 appearances.
He ultimately joined Hibernian last summer. In his debut campaign with Hibs, Bowie managed 6 goals in 18 league games. And he seems to have taken the next step this time around.
Sutton was a brilliant striker in his day. So, one would hope that he has an eye for one as well. Let's see if Celtic do end up making a move for Bowie at some point.
