in recent years, we have seen that Celtic are very open to the idea of signing Premier League veterans, especially when they are available as free agents. Aaron Mooy and Kasper Schmeichel are perfect examples of such moves, which worked out for the Hoops. Could they look to repeat the trick this summer with a Brazilian striker?

Celtic do need to strengthen up top this summer. They said goodbye to Kyogo in the middle of last season but remarkably, did not end up bringing in a replacement even though he was their first-choice striker at that point.

Let's see if Celtic end up rectifying that mistake this summer. And they might have a very interesting option available as a free agent.

In their list of Premier League free agents that Celtic could sign realistically, one of the names 67 Hail Hail suggested was that of Carlos Vinicius. Fulham have announced that he will be leaving this summer at the end of his contract.

It never really worked out for Vinicius during his time at Fulham. In 52 appearances for the club, he managed to score just 8 goals. But that does not mean that he has not found success elsewhere in the past.

Vincius' most memorable spells have come at clubs like Benfica and Tottenham Hotspur, for whom he scored regularly. So, should Celtic consider a move for the 30-year-old Brazilian striker this summer?

There are pros and cons to any move. But he is available as a free agent and at 30 years of age, should have plenty of football left in the tank. It remains to be seen if Celtic do end up making a move for Vinicius this summer. At the moment, this is nothing more than a mere suggestion.
