Vaclav Cerny's future at Ibrox remains uncertain. He spent the season on loan at the club and it remains to be seen whether he will be returning again, whether temporarily or on a permanent basis. A lot of Celtic fans will want to see it happen though, because of what happened in the last Glasgow Derby at Parkhead.
Cerny appeared to spray water towards Celtic fans in the stands after the Rangers scored a late winner. The incident made a lot of headlines but ultimately, the winger was not handed any sort of punishment by the SFA for his actions.
It would be safe to say that Celtic fans have not forgotten though. And the club itself decided to take a subtle yet public dig at the Rangers loanee after lifting the Premiership trophy, their fourth on the trot, this weekend.
Celtic posted an image with the trophy in the dressing room. Even more interesting was the caption accompanying it as it read: "We only spray champagne."
Celtic take public dig at Rangers' Vaclav Cerny
We do not need to tell you what that caption is in reference to. Now, let's see if we get to see Cerny don the Rangers jersey again and return to play at Parkhead in the future. If he does, the reception will certainly be one to watch.
For now, Celtic cannot focus on things going on at Ibrox, especially the future of Cerny. The Hoops have a lot still on their plate even though the league season is done and dusted.
Celtic's next goal will be completing the treble. They are in the Scottish Cup final where they will be taking on Aberdeen. The Hoops will be without two of their most important players though, in Jota and Reo Hatate. That could make things difficult for them.
