With the Premiership and League Cup already in the bag, it is safe to say that this has already been a successful season for Celtic. It can get even better if they are able to win the Scottish Cup. The Hoops have made it to the final and will face Aberdeen at Hampden Park. If successful, this will be Brendan Rodgers' third treble as the club's manager. Nobody has more.

Rodgers surprised many by making a return to Celtic in the summer of 2023. After all, considering the manner in which he had left for Leicester City in the middle of 18/19 season, it was hard to imagine a reunion ever taking place.

Of course, fans were not happy with the manner of Rodgers' exit but everybody was back on the same page once he became Celtic manager for a second time and started to deliver again. And this has been another incredible season for the Northern Irishman, who has made winning trophies a habit during his time in Glasgow.

PFA Scotland named their nominees for Manager of the Year this afternoon. Unsurprisingly, Rodgers' name was on that list. The other two are David Gray of Hibernian and John McGlynn of Falkirk.

Of course, Rodgers is not someone who will focus on these nominations. His focus right now will be on the upcoming Glasgow Derby at Ibrox.

Coming into 2025, Rodgers had lost only one Glasgow Derby. But this year itself, he has seen his team lose on two occasions to the Rangers. He will be keen not to make it three on the trot.

On their last visit to Ibrox, Celtic had lost 3-0 to the Rangers. They will have to be much better this time around. The opposition has given them problems in recent times, and they have conceded nine goals over the previous three derbies.
