At the end of the day, Celtic would have been happy to come out of Rugby Park with all three points. It had looked like they were going to drop two after Kilmarnock found the equaliser. But the Hoops earned themselves a penalty deep into the game and Kelechi Iheanacho showed immense confidence to step up on his debut and convert from the spot in a pressure situation. That should boost his confidence.

Another summer signing who impressed is Sebastian Tounekti. He was Celtic's best player on the day and has managed to excite the fans.

The same cannot be said about Michel-Ange Balikwisha though. He made his debut against the Rangers at Ibrox and did not do much of note. The hope was that he would do much better against Kilmarnock but unfortunately, once again, it was a disappointing and unimpressive performance from the Belgian winger.

As reported by 67 Hail Hail, Chris Sutton said while speaking on Sky Sports Football:

"Balikwisha has offered nothing. Brendan Rodgers needs to get him off"

Well, it is safe to say that this is not the start to life at Celtic that Balikwisha would have been hoping for. Of course, these are still very early days and one needs to give him time to find his feet at a new club and in a new league.

But unfortunately, patience is rare at clubs like Celtic, where the pressure is to win pretty much every game. So, Balikwisha needs to do something of note soon if he does not want to get lost in the shuffle. So many before him have.

Let's just hope that he has a lot more in the tank and we will see that once he gets adjusted to life at Celtic. For now, he is not doing much of note to be honest.
