Nicolas Kuhn has established himself as Celtic's talisman this season. There is no doubt about that, with the winger having 21 goal contributions in just 17 appearances. It is remarkable that his place in the starting XI was not a guarantee coming into the campaign but right now, he has to be the first name on Brendan Rodgers' team sheet.

Kuhn has been playing well since the start of the season. But it looks like his brace against RB Leipzig in the Champions League, which included a spectacular curling equaliser, has made all of Europe take notice.

Clubs like Brentford and Fulham have been linked with Kuhn recently. On the other hand, reports have emerged that Celtic would want a transfer fee in the region of €30 million for the German winger.

Those seem to be wide of the mark though. As reported by CeltsAreHere, Celtic have refuted reports suggesting they’ve placed an asking transfer fee on Kuhn.

To be honest, Celtic should not consider parting ways with Kuhn anytime soon. He is a key part of the team and considering the financial boost the club could land as a result of their successes at the Champions League level, they do not need a big exit right now.

If Kuhn continues to perform well in the Champions League, then his transfer value is only going to rise. And the winger seems to be getting better with every game, as he seems to be embracing the role of being Celtic's talisman.

Not many would have seen this kind of improvement coming from Kuhn, after what had been an unremarkable first five months with Celtic. So, the winger deserves all the credit in the world, as do the coaching staff for helping get the best out of him.
