Celtic may finally be set to add a new winger to their ranks having been linked with plenty of widemen this summer. Real Oviedo's Haissem Hassan looks to be the main target, and the World Cup star could be on his way to Parkhead, according to journalist Pablo Oliveira.

According to the latest information, the Hoops are ready to formalize a £7 million bid for the player. The Scottish board wants to close the deal as soon as possible to integrate him into the squad!"
Hassan impressed for Egypt at this summer's World Cup, playing a key role in his nation reaching the Round of 16, where they eventually suffered a late collapse to finalists Argentina.
In that game specifically, Hassan was arguably the man of the match, providing a constant threat against the now former World Cup champions.
Hassan is still only 24 years of age, and while he was a bright spark last season for Real Oviedo, he didn't manage to be overly productive due to Oviedo finishing rock bottom of LaLiga and suffering relegation at the first time of asking following their promotion.
The £7million fee is a big one for Celtic, but Oviedo were always going to hold out for a big fee due to Villarreal, Hassan's former club, pocketing a sizable chunk of the transfer fee due to still holding rights in the winger.
If the deal does go through, Celtic fans will be delighted to finally get another attacker wrapped up, and Hassan is the type of player the Bhoys need, given his speed on the outside, which O'Neill could do with more of.
