Celtic players have been leaving left, right and centre. Of course, the most significant of them has been the departure of Nicolas Kuhn, who has joined Como FC. On the other hand, Jota's injury, which will keep him out for the rest of the year, has weakened the club's options on the flank further. And now, it looks like another winger is set to depart.

There are quite a few players at the club who do not seem to feature in Brendan Rodgers' plans. Due to the departure of Kuhn and the injury to Jota, many might have felt that there was a window of opportunity for Luis Palma to get back into the team. The Honduran had been very impressive early on at Celtic but has seen his importance fade away over time.

Now, it has become clear that Palma does not have a future at Celtic under the management of Rodgers despite the lack of options on the wings. In fact, he is closing in on another loan move after an unimpressive stint at Olympiacos.

As reported by Football Insider, Palma is set to leave the club to join Lech Poznan on loan. The Honduran international has a full agreement in place with the Polish club and the deal is set to be finalised soon. He has turned down offers from the English Championship, MLS and Turkey.

There is no doubt about Palma's quality. He has shown that, even at the Champions League, scoring against Atletico Madrid.

What he seems to be missing is consistency. And when he is not contributing with goals and assists, his overall gameplay is not polished enough to be a positive to his team.

There were high hopes that he would rediscover his form on loan at Olympiacos. We all know how that turned out. Now, it looks like he is set to head to Poland and let's just say that this is an important move for his career.
