Celtic have a game against Raith Rovers coming up this weekend in the Scottish Cup but one has to imagine that the majority of the supporters will have an eye out on the upcoming Bayern Munich game as well. The Hoops will welcome the Bavarian side to Parkhead next week before travelling to Germany for the second leg.

Celtic did brilliantly to make it to the knockout phase of the Champions League. But now, they have been handed one of the most difficult ties in the competition.

The Hoops did not help themselves by weakening the squad over the winter, a confusing move in the eyes of most, since they knew the Bayern Munich tie was coming up. Jeffrey Schlupp was one of the two arrivals, and even he is only on loan until the end of the season.

Schlupp is someone who knows Harry Kane well. The Englishman is the main man for Bayern Munich right now and if Celtic are to have success against the Bundesliga giants, they will have to keep him on the periphery of the game.

Schlupp did not mix his words though when speaking about Kane and what he brings to the table. As reported by the Daily Record, the Crystal Palace loanee said:

"Top player, one of the best strikers in the world. I actually played with Harry Kane years back at Leicester when he came on loan, and even from then you could see his finishing ability was of different class.

“But we look forward to it. He’s a top striker, he's definitely caused me some pain previously, but hopefully we can return the favour and beat him. It was a long time ago, to be fair, when he did come to Leicester, but just from playing against him anyway as adults and senior pros, you know what to expect.

“He's clinical in the box, his passing range, he's different class, so we'll have to keep a close eye on him. It's going to be difficult to keep him out, as it is for any team in the world, so tough job, but we'll definitely see what we can do."

Kane is one of the best strikers in the world for sure. Celtic will have their hands full, trying to keep him off the scoresheet.

Very few have succeeded in that regard this season as Kane has scord 6 goals in the Champions League already. Not just that, he has 21 goals in just 19 Bundesliga appearances. Those are some numbers to say the very least and the Celtic defenders will have to be at the top of their games and then some in midweek.
