It looks like Celtic have left themselves with too much work to do in the final week of the winter transfer window. Then again, this is nothing new for the Hoops. And if the past is anything to go by, you can expect them to make a few additions between now and February 2, although all their targets are unlikely to be met.

Martin O'Neill has done the best he can with the squad that he has been given and the circumstances in which he has arrived. That being said, he needs a lot more help if the Hoops are to have any chance of winning this title race.

The game against Hearts was a great chance to close down the gap. But unfortunately, a draw was all Celtic could manage on the day. A 77th-minute red card for Auston Trusty was followed by a late equaliser from Claudio Braga, which prevented O'Neill's side from getting all three points.

Now, it remains to be seen what kind of moves Celtic are able to pull off between now and the end of the window. A new name has emerged on their radar if reports coming out are on the mark.

As reported by Tipsbladet, Celtic are in the picture to sign Felix Horn Myhre. Brondby want to sign the Norwegian international for a transfer fee of around €3 million.

Myhre is a full Norwegian international who has made 5 appearances and scored a couple of goals as well. He is currently at Brann.

Celtic have been linked with a number of players over the last few weeks, although very little has led to anything substantial. So, take this news with a pinch of salt at this point in time. But someone like Myhre could be a decent addition.
