Celtic have a couple of very good options available at striker right now in the form of Kyogo and Adam Idah. The Japanese international remains the number one option up top despite the Irishman's big money arrival from Norwich City in the summer. Both have scored seven goal each so far this season for Brendan Rodgers' team.

Many believe that Celtic do need a third option at striker. Their schedule is congested, as they are expected to compete for three trophies domestically while also potentially making it to the next phase of the Champions League after a great start in Europe.

On the other hand, one cannot rule out the possibility of one of the strikers getting injured. Kyogo has a history of shoulder issues while Idah has dealt with a few fitness scares already this season.

The idea of signing a striker on loan in January might not be a bad one. And it looks like one of the most highly-rated strikers in the Premier League is available on a temporary basis.

As reported by The Telegraph, Brighton & Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson is available on loan this January. He needs more playing time.

Not too long ago, Ferguson was being regarded as the next big talent that Brighton & Hove Albion had managed to discover. But things have not gone quite as smoothly for the striker as expected. Right now, he is behind at least three others in Fabian Hurzeler’s pecking order.

Someone like Ferguson would be a brilliant cover option for Celtic. A move to Parkhead would also give him the chance to play for a team that is always on the frontfoot. Of course, one would not expect him to come in and become a starter for the Hoops. That could potentially be a deal breaker for Brighton.
