Celtic are set to take on Raith Rovers in the Scottish Cup this weekend. But most fans will also have an eye on midweek already, as the Hoops will welcome Bayern Munich to Parkhead. This is the first time that they have made it to the knockout phase of the competition since 2013. They have been one of the hardest possible ties though.

If Celtic are to have any hope of making it past Bayern Munich, they will have to make the most of the Parkhead atmosphere in the first leg. Then there is the away trip to Germany.

Celtic have already travelled to Germany once in the Champions League this season and that trip won't bring up any good memories. Borussia Dortmund handed them a 7-1 defeat at Signal Iduna Park.

They seem to have learned their lesson since then though and have put in good performances away against teams like Atalanta and Aston Villa. And there is some good news for them ahead of the trip to the Allianz Arena.

Celtic make long-awaited Champions League announcement

As reported by the club's official website, Celtic supporters will be able to attend the forthcoming Champions League match in Munich. The club made every effort to ensure that the supporters could attend this game, and UEFA has considered their detailed submission.

There were fears that Celtic fans could be banned from attending the game in Munich. And if the supporters break the rules again, there could be an actual suspension in the future. So, hopefully, they will be careful moving forward and do what is best for the entire fanbase.

That being said, let's keep our focus on the task at hand for now, which is to win against Raith Rovers in the Scottish Cup. It would be a mistake to take them lightly.
