We are merely hours away from the game between Celtic and SC Braga. It is one that the Hoops need to win, after drawing their opener against Red Star Belgrade. But considering how shaky the club have looked since the start of the campaign, and how rarely they win in Europe, it would not come as a surprise if they fail to get three points against the Portuguese visitors, despite their own struggles in recent weeks.

Let's see what the future holds for Brendan Rodgers and his side. There is one thing we do know though. There are likely to be quite a few empty seats in the stands when Celtic take on Braga tonight.

That is a rarity when it comes to Celtic's European games. But considering how the summer transfer window was handled by the club, combined with not strengthening enough before the Champions League qualifiers against Kairat, and it looks like the fans want their voices to be heard.

In order to do that, a lot of them have chosen not to buy tickets for the Europa League games. That has been followed by a series of announcements on the part of the club, trying to fill the empty seats. In fact, the latest of those came hours before the game.

Celtic made a ticketing announcement on their official website earlier today. It confirmed that Season Ticket holders who have not purchased a 4-match package can still take advantage of their STH discount for tonight’s game.

When was the last time that you remember the club try this hard to sell the tickets for European games? We certainly do not.

This has to be one of the primary reasons why the likes of Michael Nicholason have decided to finally meet with the supporters. Let's see what comes out of that meeting.
