Celtic could look to sign a striker in this winter transfer window. Kyogo Furuhashi is being constantly linked with a move away and while nothing has materialised in that regard so far, the speculation has left fans worried. The Japanese forward did remind everybody of his importance this weekend by scoring a brace against Ross County. That takes his tally to 12 goals for the season.
This is not Kyogo at his prolific best, but he is still Celtic's best option at striker. So, letting him leave in the middle of the season would raise a lot of eyebrows.
On the other hand, Celtic are being linked with a few forwards as well, which is only going to add to the Kyogo exit rumours. Mathias Kvistgaarden is still believed to be on their radar. And now, they have been linked with another highly-rated youngster.
Bazoumana Toure is someone believed to be on the club's radar but now, it looks like one of his Hammarby teammates is also on their transfer wishlist. Rumours doing the rounds online have now linked Celtic with Jusef Erabi, who has been dubbed the 'Swedish Hulk'.
Celtic linked with striker dubbed 'Swedish Hulk'
At 21 years of age, Erabi has a decent bit of experience under his belt. In 73 appearances for Hammarby, he has scored 23 goals. And his nickname tells you a lot about what he brings to the table in terms of playing style.
It remains to be seen if the rumours suggesting Celtic are interested in Erabi turn out to be accurate or not. At the moment, it should only be treated as speculation and nothing more.
The best-case scenario for Celtic would be Kyogo staying. He is not only a brilliant player but also a popular figure amongst the club's supporters.
