Celtic fans might not have been happy with Ange Postecoglou leaving the club merely days after winning a treble to join Tottenham Hotspur, but his time at Parkhead is fondly remembered by most. The Australian deserves a ton of credit for steering the Hoops in the right direction after their trophyless 20/21 season and the exit of key players like Scott Brown, Odsonne Edouard, Kris Ajer and Ryan Christie in the same window.

Not many could have done the job that Postecoglou did. And now, he is proving his mettle at Tottenham Hotspur.

It is not often that teams win 4-0 against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City. But Tottenham Hotspur achieved just that this weekend. Even more impressive was the fact that the result came away from home.

Not too long ago, questions were being asked about Postecoglou's future at Tottenham Hotspur but looking at the Premier League table, they are just three points away from a spot in the top four. Finishing there would have to be considered a success for the club.

Celtic fans would have been happy to see Postecoglou get one of the best results of his managerial career at the weekend. Chris Sutton, on the other hand, described his team as 'box office'.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Postecoglou. Do not count out the possibility of him actually guiding Tottenham Hotspur to a piece of silverware. The Australian does have a habit of winning trophies wherever he goes. Celtic fans will know all about that, having won five in two seasons.

As for Celtic, things are going very well even after seeing a manager like Postecoglou leave. Things started a bit slow in Brendan Rodgers' second stint but have now picked up pace.
