Celtic might be keen to make additions to Martin O'Neill's squad this winter but their efforts to do that have fallen short so far. It remains to be seen if that will change over the last couple of weeks of the transfer window. Until now, their only signing has been the loan one of Julian Araujo, who had been completely out of the first-team picture at Bournemouth before this.

Now, it looks like Celtic have their eyes set on another Premier League player. This time around, it is a winger, who had been on their radar in the summer as well, although they were unable to get a move done back then.

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has been recalled from his loan spell in Turkey recently. But it looks like he could be headed for the exit door very soon once again. And when he does, Celtic look set to be in the mix to sign him.

As reported by CeltsAreHere, Celtic have approached Crystal Palace about a loan move for Rak-Sakyi. The Scottish champions are keen on bringing the winger to Glasgow until the end of the season.

It remains to be seen if Celtic are able to pull off a deal this time around or not. They are not the only ones trying to sign the winger either.

Swansea City and Stoke City are also believed to be contenders in the race to sign the winger from Crystal Palace. So, things could get interesting in this transfer race pretty quickly.

Celtic do need to get things done in this winter window and quickly. More than half of it has passed by without the club making one permanent signing. And even if this happens, it is likely to be a loan deal.
