It looks like every hour, a new manager gets linked with Celtic. There was never any doubt that the name of Ange Postecoglou was going to come up as a potential replacement for Brendan Rodgers, after the club legend resigned from his post. The Australian would be a popular choice for the fans but it is believed that he might be looking to spend some time away from the game and reset after being sacked by two clubs within the space of a few months.

On the other hand, Celtic have also been linked with up-and-coming managers like Kieran McKenna and Robbie Keane. Those are names that will not fill the fans with confidence but one cannot argue with the fact that they have a proven track record of success at the clubs that they have been at so far.

Then, there have been a few other names that have been suggested as well. Craig Bellamy, who spent a loan stint at Celtic, and is the current Wales national team boss, is one such name.

Now, it looks like a Belgian manager is also on Celtic's radar. But considering how the last time a Belgian manager was appointed by a Glasgow club went, the fans might be a bit wary.

As reported by Nieuwsblad, Nicky Hayen is on Celtic's list as they search for a new manager. Their interest in him is concrete.

To be very honest, it is not hard to see why that might be the case as well. He has been a grand success at Club Brugge, both domestically and in Europe.

That might be the model that Celtic should try to follow. So, bringing in someone like Hayen would not be a bad idea at all if you are the Hoops.
