This was not a good weekend for Celtic fans by any means as they saw the Hoops lose 2-1 at Easter Road against Hibernian. Yes, there was controversy surrounding the result but at the end of the day, Brendan Rodgers' side were not good and there is a need to go back to the drawing board. One has to wonder whether all the talk around the Champions League performance against Bayern Munich had something to do with today's display.

Of course, the result gave the Rangers a chance to close down the gap a bit. Unfortunately for the Ibrox fans, they failed to capitalize once again.

Philippe Clement's side lost 2-0 against St Mirren at home. With all the talk around a potential takeover, one has to wonder how much more time the Belgian manager will be given to steady the ship.

Many Rangers managers in the past have been shown the exit door for less. And yet, the Belgian continues to remain in the Ibrox hot seat, after he was handed a long-term contract extension not too long ago.

Celtic hero Chris Sutton's immediate reaction as Rangers lose again

Whenever the Rangers lose, a large section of Celtic fans look out for Chris Sutton's reaction. And the Englishman gave his thoughts once again as he tweeted out:

It is safe to say that the Rangers are headed absolutely nowhere at the moment. It feels like only a matter of time before Clement is sacked. One has to wonder why that decision has not been taken yet. Are they hoping that he resigns?

Of course, it is important for Celtic to focus on their own shortcomings, having lost this weekend. With the Champions League campaign now over, the entire focus has to be on finishing the season strong and win two more trophies.
