Right now, the transfer window is starting to get a bit boring if you are waiting for Celtic to make signings. As reported by Foot Mercato, Nice are advancing and have been making inroads with Crystal Palace in recent days regarding Edouard. The Frenchman, who already turned down Girona this summer, wants to join the Ligue 1 club.
Edouard was a prolific striker during his time at Celtic but has found the going much tougher down in England. In his four years since leaving, he has managed to score a combined 21 goals. In three of his four seasons with the Hoops, he scored more.
Let's see what the future holds for Edouard. It is very clear that it is not working out for him at Crystal Palace. So, it might be time for a change of scenery and a move to France might be just what he needs.
