It is safe to say that Celtic will have to pull off a miracle with their signings if they want to turn things around and make Wilfried Nancy's stint at the club a success. Most would have expected to see him get sacked after losing to the Rangers at home this weekend but it looks like the board are set to stick by the Frenchman stubbornly, hoping to prove that they were right in bringing him to Parkhead.
Now, if they want that to be the case then they will have to do their best when it comes to backing Nancy in the winter window and providing him with quality players. So far, they have made one addition to the squad.
Julian Araujo has been brought in on loan from Bournemouth for the rest of the season. And it looks like they are pushing to get a second deal done in the near future.
As reported by Anthony Joseph of Sky Sports, Celtic have made a bid of around £2 million for Maccabi Netanya winger Jocelin Ta Bi. The 20-year-old is currently on loan at Hapoel Petah Tikva, who revealed today that they expect to lose the player.

Ta Bi is 20 years of age and plays on the right flank. So far, he has made 40 senior appearances in his career, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists.
Those are decent enough numbers for sure, but is the Ivorian youngster someone who can come in and immediately help turn things around for Celtic? To us, that does not feel like the case. Let's hope that we are wrong.
To be very honest, from what we have seen since Nancy's takeover, it is hard to imagine what the club can do this winter to turn things around. Hopefully the board have a better imagination.
