One of the most exciting names that Celtic have been linked with this winter is Raul Moro. The Spanish winger, who currently plays for Real Valladolid and has scored 3 goals in La Liga this season, was rumoured to be a potential transfer target for the Hoops this month as they look to strengthen on the flanks. But that move might now no longer be on the cards.
January is always a difficult time to sign players. One major reason behind that is the fact that players are always at risk of sustaining injuries when they take to the pitch.
Unfortunately, in the case of Moro, that has become a reality. Now, he is expected to remain out for months and any potential move to Celtic Park is certainly no longer on the cards.
As tweeted by Anthony Joseph, Moro has suffered a collarbone fracture, which will likely rule him out of a transfer in this window. He’s been ruled out for around three months.

So, it would be pointless for Celtic to sign Moro at this point in time because he is not going to be available for selection for the next few months. Of course, he is not the only winger they have been linked with in recent times.
Celtic are believed to be keeping an eye on a number of wingers. On the other hand, the expectation is for Luis Palma to leave the club this month having struggled to get into Brendan Rodgers' team this season.
Any arriving winger would have a tough time getting into the starting XI though. That is because both Daizen Maeda and Nicolas Kuhn have been superb in the ongoing campaign and have been putting up impressive numbers, both in terms of goals and assists.
