Celtic have been handed a fresh injury concern ahead of Sunday's Old Firm clash with Rangers. The Bhoys are preparing for their first derby of the season, facing the Gers in the Premier Sports Cup quarter-final at Ibrox on Sunday.
With the exception of the Champions League qualifying second leg, Celtic have had an excellent season so far, winning their only cup game and winning every Premiership game so far.
But Rangers have also played well of late, winning their last four games to put a disappointing start to the season behind them, making this one an interesting test.
Celtic know they will be without Alistair Johnston and Landon Emenalo for this one, while Yang Hyun-jun is away for the Asian Games, but there is now doubt over the participation of Mika Baur.
Baur was Celtic's best player on Wednesday night, when they squeezed past St Johnstone, and he spoke after the game about his excitement for his first experience of the Old Firm.
But SunSport have reported that while Cameron Carter-Vickers has returned to training following a bout of fatigue, Baur was absent from the Friday session, leading to concerns over his participation on Sunday.
Celtic are likely to train again on Saturday, and there are a number of reasons Baur might have missed the session, be it a personal reason, an injury or perhaps a simple muscular overload amid an extremely busy schedule.
Celtic are in the midst of a run of games that will see them play 10 times in just 37 days, so players are going to need the odd session off, and it doesn't necessarily point to them missing a game. But at the same time, there is an increased risk of muscular issues, and fans will be concerned over a potential setback.
If Baur does miss out, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be seen as the main replacement, while Oliver Sorensen and Joel van den Berg are also potential replacements, albeit they are more attacking.
