In the 23/24 campaign, he had 8 goals and 3 assists in 16 Ligue 1 games. He also had 8 goals and 4 assists in 17 appearances for Austrian Bundesliga side Wolfsberger AC.
Bamba has a long-term contract with Lorient, which is believed to run until the summer of 2028. But he has slipped down the pecking order there and has not made a league starter for the club since early November. So, if the right offer is on the table, you would expect the French side to consider it, which is what they are believed to be doing with the one put forward by Celtic.
