So, it is safe to say that the Rangers have had a tough time catching up with Celtic. Their latest hope in that regard has been a takeover. But now, it looks like that could end up falling apart if things don't move quickly.

As reported by the Daily Mail (via Ibrox News), the investors are frustrated with how long it is taking to complete the deal. The US consortium could walk away if a deal is not reached soon.

Of course, that is worrying news for Rangers fans. On the other hand, many Celtic supporters would have been predicting something similar for quite some time now.
