There has been quite a bit of negativity around this Celtic team in recent weeks due to their shaky form in the second half of the season. So, it is easy to forget how good they have been in this campaign, all things considered, especially compared to other teams in Scotland. Thankfully, the fans were handed a timely reminder this morning.
As a number of Celtic players continue to be linked with moves away from Parkhead, PFA Scotland announced their Premiership Team of the Year. It was voted on by the players.
As one would have expected, there is a healthy Celtic presence in the team. Seven of the Hoops' players have made it to the XI. On the other hand, two are from the Rangers and one each from Hearts and Dundee United.
The seven Celtic players who have made the PFA Scotland Premiership Team of the Year are Kasper Schmeichel, Alistair Johnston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate, Nicolas Kuhn and Daizen Maeda. The others are John Souttar, Nico Raskin, James Penrice and Sam Dalby.

Celtic fans delighted with official announcement as PFA Scotland release Team of the Year
It is safe to say that Celtic fans are happy to see so many of the club's players make it to the Team of the Year. It is a timely reminder of how many brilliant individuals they have at the club. Hopefully, they will be able to keep their core together beyond the upcoming summer transfer window. The likes of Carter-Vickers, Maeda, Hatate and Kuhn have all been linked with moves away in recent months.
On the other hand, many in the comments ended up questioning the inclusion of Souttar and Raskin in the team. The absence of Hibernian players appeared to be a topic of discussion as well.
Of course, there are more things that Celtic fans will be focused on right now. Next is the Scottish Cup semi-final against St Johnstone at Hampden Park. Then there is a potential title party away against Dundee United at Tannadice Park.
