The Scottish Premiership will get going in less than two weeks, and Celtic fans are in a state of disbelief at their club's lack of transfer business this summer. The Bhoys have made just one new signing so far this summer, and they are likely to lose at least three starters this summer.
Concern is at a real high, but most of their rivals are having no such problems in the summer window, with Rangers, Hearts and others already wrapping up new signings aplenty. In that vein, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Scottish top flight.
Celtic in 'talks' over another exit
Celtic have reportedly agreed a deal to sell Daizen Maeda to Ipswich Town for £10million, and their sales certainly won't end there. The Bhoys are also set to lose midfield star Arne Engels, and they are now reportedly in talks with Crystal Palace.
TeamTalk have reported that the Premier League side are in discussions with Celtic over a deal, with Celtic understood to be willing to sell for £25million. Engels is said to want to land a big move this summer, and it's likely he will get his wish at some point this summer.
Rangers handed Dahl blow
Rangers were said to be confident of landing Tromso midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl this summer, but it seems they could be beaten to the deal.
According to WalesOnline, Welsh club Cardiff City are said to be confident of striking a deal, with owner Vincent Tan now personally monitoring the deal. Cardiff are said to be in a 'strong position' over negotiations, and optimism is said to be growing. That's bad news for Rangers, who need to get a move on if they want to land the Norwegian talent.
Hearts 'agree' Mendy deal
Hearts are now said to be pushing ahead with their efforts to land Forest Green Rovers captain Larent Mendy, now reportedly agreeing a deal. The Jambos have been pushing for a deal for much of the summer, and the Daily Record report that a £500,000 deal has been agreed.
Hearts had an offer for Mendy rejected back in January, and Forest Green played hardball earlier this summer, but the newest offer has convinced them to sell their strong midfielder.
The 29-year-old has reportedly been sounded out by Hearts' analytics department as a wise recruit, and they now look to have got their man, with only the fine details left to wrap up.
