Celtic drop teaser video as announcement close

It would be safe to say that Celtic are enjoying a lot of success on the pitch this season. They are coming off their best Champions League campaign in over a decade as they narrowly missed out on making it to the last 16, losing to Bayern Munich on aggregate in the knockout phase tie. Domestically, another trebles seems to be a very real possibility. The League Cup is already in the bag, the Premiership seems to be only a matter of time and the Scottish Cup is up for grabs.

Off the pitch, there has been speculation about Celtic getting upgraded to 'Elite' status by Adidas from next season. It remains to be seen how accurate those rumours turn out to be.

On the other hand, Celtic have dropped a teaser video tonight. It looks like whatever it is, will be officially revealed tomorrow. The caption accompanying the clip says 'Tomorrow 8am'.

From the short video, it does seem to be a shirt with a three-leaf shamrock symbol and also the iconic trefoil Adidas logo. Whether it is a range of merch or just a single piece remains to be seen.

Yes, there have been a few misses along the way but overall, a lot of great stuff has been produced, which has been liked by the majority of the fanbase.

It is also worth pointing out that there are deep connections between Celtic and the three-leaf shamrock symbol. It used to be the club's badge at one point in time but was changed to a four-leaf clover in 1938.

So, expect this to be retro style merch for Celtic. Of course, the fans will not have to wait long before it is officially revealed.
