Celtic's win over Sturm Graz was important for more reasons than one. Firstly, it hands them three points in the Europa League to get their campaign off running after a draw and a defeat in the first two matchdays. Secondly, it does give the Hoops a much-needed confidence booster as well. The mood around Parkhead has been lifted with this result and let's just hope that Brendan Rodgers' side can build on this. And thirdly, it was a good performance from the Bhoys after a long time.
Of course, it was not all positive on the night. Kelechi Iheanacho and Alistair Johnston picked up injuries that could keep them out for a while. And it remains to be seen what the extent of Cameron Carter-Vickers' issue is.
On the other hand, it is no secret that Celtic have had a tough time moving tickets amid the growing dissatisfaction. So, on the back of the morale boosting win against Sturm Graz, the club have put out a double announcement.
As reported by the club's official website, the next match at Parkhead is against Falkirk on October 29. After that, they will take on Kilmarnock on November 9, in what will be the only home match of the month. Tickets for both fixtures are now on general sale to all supporters.
Celtic make double announcement after win vs Sturm Graz
The number of ticketing announcements coming out of the club this season just goes on to show how bad things have gotten in that regard. It is not hard to see why either.
The fans are not happy with how things have been run at the club in recent years. They want changes to be brought in at all levels.
The Celtic board does not seem to be keen on making those changes though. This has all led to a less than ideal situation for everybody involved.
