The Scottish summer transfer window now has less than two weeks remaining, and we are likely to see business aplenty done in the final two weeks. The likes of Celtic and Rangers still have plenty of big spending to come.

Celtic still have three or four more new signings to take care of as they look to fill key holes in their squad, such as midfield, left-back and goalkeeper. Rangers will likely focus their efforts on replacing the injured Youssef Chermiti.

The other Premiership clubs are also likely to be busy, with the likes of Hibs likely to strengthen if they can qualify for Europe. Here we round up all the transfer latest from across the top flight.

Celtic confirm winger exit

Celtic have confirmed the exit of winger Thomas Hatton, who has left for a season-long loan with Ayr United. The attacker said upon his arrival: “I’m buzzing. Can't wait to get started. It’s been brewing for a couple of weeks now. So, ready to get going. I hope to be involved, hope to get a chance. See what I can do. I’m direct, fast, I run at people. You can expect to see goals and assists.”

O'Neill has said he has been impressed with Hatton's efforts after he returned from an injury last season, and the youngster will now get the chance to test himself with regular football at Ayr.

Rangers come up short

Rangers are said to have made an approach to sign former player Vaclav Cerny, a midfielder, who is currently with Besiktas.

Journalist Murat Ozen has claimed that Rangers tried to sign the midfielder, but Besiktas knocked back their interest, and to put a bullet in any potential deal, it's added that Cerny has no intentions of leaving Turkiye. Cerny spent the 2024/25 season on loan with Rangers, scoring 12 league goals.

Hibs closing in on loan deal

Hibernian are said to be closing in on the signing of Manchester United midfielder Jacob Devaney. According to the BBC's Simon Stone, Hibs are set to land the Republic of Ireland youth international on a season-long loan deal.

The 19-year-old did well with St Mirren during a loan spell in the second half of last season, and he appears to have caught the eye of Hibs during that stint. Unlikely to get any game time with United this season, he will head back out on loan, and he could even find himself playing European football in Edinburgh, depending on how the second leg of their Conference League qualifier goes next week.
