With merely days left in the summer transfer window, Celtic will need to move swiftly in order to put together their squad. Unfortunately, that is something that the Hoops rarely do when it comes to transfers. As a result, the fans have serious doubts about how much they will be successful in getting done.

Signing another striker is absolutely necessary, and bringing in a couple would be ideal. That is because Adam Idah is set to leave the club out of nowhere.

Swansea City are believed to be on the verge of signing Idah from Celtic. But there is one final hurdle that the Hoops need to overcome before the move can go through.

As reported by Sky Sports' Anthony Joseph, Swansea City are waiting on Celtic to green-light Idah’s £7 million move to the club. He completed a medical and has agreed on personal terms, but was called back by the Hoops until they sort out a replacement. The Scottish champions are advancing on Anderlecht’s Kasper Dolberg, but no agreement has been reached just yet.

So, Idah's move to Swansea City is not set in stone just yet. Expect it to go through, as the Hoops are working on a deal to bring in Dolberg. But there is always the chance that things can fall through in the final steps.

Celtic's next game is an away trip to Ibrox to take on the Rangers. Will they be able to sort it out before then?

Let's see how this entire situation plays out over the coming days. There is very little time left in the window and we will not have to wait long to find out an answer to the questions surrounding the striker spot at this point in time.
