Celtic have made a fantastic start to the season. Except for the stumble against Borussia Dortmund away at Signal Iduna Park, they have not lost a single game. The 2-2 draw at Parkhead vs Aberdeen did raise some eyebrows but they then backed it up with a 6-0 win over Jimmy Thelin's side at Hampden Park to underline who the best team in Scotland are.

One player who has at the centre of it all is Nicolas Kuhn. With Matt O'Riley leaving in the summer in a Scottish-record move, the German winger has seamlessly stepped into his shoes and established himself as the talisman of the club.

It is something that not many would have seen coming. Especially considering how unremarkable Kuhn's first half-season with the club had been after arriving from Rapid Vienna in January.

Coming into the 24/25 season, there were doubts over his place in the starting XI. Just a few months on and he has to be one of the first names on Brendan Rodgers' team sheet. That's how far the winger has come, having registered 21 goal contributions in 17 appearances in this campaign.

As reported by Football Insider, Celtic are bracing for offers for Kuhn amid growing interest from Premier League clubs. Rodgers still regards the German winger as the “key man” in his team and is keen for the Hoops not to part ways with him unless they need to.

Of course, it is not rare for Celtic's best players to leave the club. It has happened some many times over the years that fans are pretty used to it at this point in time.

That being said, there is no reason for the Hoops to be in a hurry to say goodbye to Kuhn. He has not been at the club for even a year.
