Brendan Rodgers has done a lot of great things over his two stints as Celtic manager. This week's win over RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League might have been the most impressive result that he has achieved so far though. It is not often that the Hoops win that comfortably against a high-profile opponent and at that level.

Rodgers is one of the best managers in the world right now. Of course, he might have been handed a blow when he was shown the exit door by Leicester City, but not too long before that, he was being linked with clubs like Manchester City as Pep Guardiola's eventual replacement and FC Barcelona.

And as long as Rodgers is at Celtic, he will always be linked with clubs down south, considering his history of success in England. West Ham United are the latest to be suggested as his next destination.

While talking on talkSPORT about the potential next manager for West Ham United, Darren Bent suggested Rodgers and said:

"Brendan Rodgers, Iā€™m telling you now, he could be the one. He plays some nice football."

West Ham United could find themselves looking for a new manager in the future. They said goodbye to David Moyes not too long, despite the success he brought to the club.

The Scotsman was replaced by Julen Lopetegui. His time with West Ham United has not gone as expected though and if things do not improve quickly, the Hammers might end up needing to make a change.

Even in that scenario, it is hard to imagine that Rodgers would consider leaving Celtic at this point, with things going so well domestically and in Europe. Of course, we all know how things ended the first time around and how he ended up leaving in the middle of the season to join Leicester City.
